Creating an exquisite interior. Part 2

By on July 3, 2015

This is a continuation of the Part 1 article of how to create an exquisite interior. Today we are going to discuss the kitchen, equipment, bathroom ceramics and special features of your exquisite home.

A kitchen of natural material has always been in trend. Regardless of what is the style of the interior, by using natural wood you bring your home a VIP look.

Home appliances of VIP class are an integral part of every elite interior. Nowadays designers equip houses not only with the basics of the ‘smart home’ system (multimedia, alarm), but also winter gardens, laundries and even ironing rooms. One of the options to consider is the feature that prepares a hot bath with the help of the ‘smart home’ system that is connected to your smartphone. Besides, the system regulates the filling level of your bath by itself.

Bathroom ceramics

The most exquisite trend of bathroom equipment is coating it with the 24Kt/999 gold. This kind of finishing brings a unique appearance to any steel type of bathroom equipment, which means it is a perfect element for an elite interior. What is also in trend are designer’s bathtubs with astonishing shapes, which remind us of large bathtubs of some Oriental imperator.

For example, the world-known designer Philippe Starck created unique and one of a kind bathroom equipment, Starck 1, Starck 2 and Starck 3 washbasins, exclusively for Duravit.

Over the last few years, a large number of bathroom equipment has been produced by no less famous designers: Andreas Struppler, Sieger Design, Norman Foster, Phoenix Design, EOOS, Jochem Schmidt.

Besides, it is also important to have the faucet made of expensive material. The kitchen’s equipment must be exquisite but brilliantly simple at the same time.

Special features

Apart from the above-mentioned ‘smart’ systems, the special features of your exquisite interior may also include fireplaces, swimming pools, horizontal greenery, and, for example, small houses-libraries for kids. Well, you can come up with many ideas depending on the construction and style of your interior.

As a conclusion, it is important to note two crucial things. First of all, regardless of the types of materials used, the interior must always have its STYLE. And the style must be emphasized with such accessories as paintings, home appliances, original clocks, stylish lamps, etc.

Second of all, the most exquisite rooms usually stand out from the crowd with eclectic interiors, which combine eco, loft, ancient, Oriental and other styles. For this reason, every thought-out interior should include suitable elements: more lovely or more technical – it’s up to you. If you can’t decide, then you can always find the golden mean.
